The Foris Hortus is a 3.0 m round center-pole outdoor umbrella built around a natural anodized aluminum frame and a 250 g/m² polyester canopy with a PA coating. Frame Finish Customization
The aluminium frame is offered in three finishes so the umbrella matches the architecture and the brand of the project. All three are applied to marine-grade aluminium and pass a 72-hour salt spray test.
Powder-Coated Finish
Premium powder-coat treatment with a rich colour range. Excellent resistance against fading and chipping, and the most practical choice for coastal and high-traffic sites.
Heat-Transfer Wood-Grain
Realistic timber texture transferred onto aluminium - the warm appearance of wood with no wood maintenance, no rot and no repainting.
Anodized / Oxidation

What base should I use with the ?
For permanent setups, choose the iron-plate or resin base. For movable floor layouts (events, pop-up terraces), the fillable water-tank base is the easiest to redeploy — just fill, position, and drain when you need to move the umbrella.
Can the umbrella stay outside in wind and rain?
The is wind-rated to Beaufort 4 (≈ 30 km/h) with a correctly weighted base. Close and secure the canopy whenever winds pick up, and avoid leaving it open in storms or freezing conditions to extend the canopy's service life.
How is the canopy cleaned?
Brush off loose dirt, then wipe with a soft cloth, mild soap and lukewarm water. Avoid harsh detergents, bleach and pressure washers — they shorten the life of the PA coating.
