How long have you been manufacturing outdoor umbrellas and furniture?

Linhai Fenghui Home Furnishing Co., Ltd. has been producing outdoor products since 2015, and the Foris Hortus brand was established in 2016. Over the years we have refined our aluminium fabrication, anti-rust treatment and canopy construction to meet the demands of commercial hospitality clients, not just residential backyards. Where is your factory located, and can we visit it?

Our production base is in Linhai, Zhejiang Province (postal code 317000), China's main producing region for outdoor furniture and shade umbrellas - so frame welding, powder coating and upholstery are all available locally. Containers leave from Ningbo, a short run from the workshop, with Shanghai also available. We welcome buyers, inspectors and design partners to visit by appointment; the full street address is issued on request for shipping documents, couriers or factory audits.

Factory location and visits

Our factory is in Linhai, Taizhou, Zhejiang, about three hours by road from Shanghai and one hour from Ningbo port. We welcome qualified buyers and partners for a scheduled tour of the welding, powder-coat, and assembly lines.

What to expect

A visit usually covers a line walk, sample review, and a working session on your project. Send your dates and product interests and we arrange transport from the nearest city and a tailored agenda.

How can I track my order after it is confirmed?

After each contract is signed we assign a unique order number, and that number can be used to track the progress of the order on our website. You do not have to ask for a status update to know where the goods are.

The tracking runs through seven published stages:

• Order Confirmation

• Production Scheduling

• Material Procurement

• Production Process Tracking

• Quality Control and Inspection

• Packaging and Shipping

• Delivery and Feedback

Two points worth knowing. Production scheduling follows order confirmation, so you get a clear view of the start date and the expected finish date early rather than near the end. And Quality Control and Inspection is one of the tracked stages rather than a separate conversation, which is where third party inspection sits if you want to appoint one before the container is loaded.

Order tracking after confirmation

Once your order is confirmed, we assign a coordinator who sends a production schedule, photo updates at key stages (frame, finish, assembly, packing), and the booking and bill of lading after shipment. You always know where the order stands.

Visibility

For larger programmes we can share inspection reports and container loading photos. Tell us your reporting preference and we match it, from a simple weekly note to full milestone documentation.

Where can I meet your team in person?

We meet buyers in person at two fairs in Guangzhou each year, both in October:

• The Canton Fair, in Guangzhou, where we exhibit our outdoor collections

• The Jinhan Fair for Home & Gifts, at the Poly World Trade Center Expo in Guangzhou

We deliberately do not print fixed dates and stand numbers in this answer, because they change every edition and a stale stand number is worse than none. Stand numbers and confirmed dates for each edition are published on our News page as soon as we have them, and our team sends them to buyers who are already in contact with us.

If you would like to meet at the next edition, tell us which fair and which day and we will confirm our stand and hold a time slot for you.

Factory visits are also welcome. Buyers who are already in China, or who want to see the frames welded and the upholstery made before placing a substantial order, can arrange to visit us in Linhai, Zhejiang. Contact us with your travel dates and we will set the visit up.

Meeting our team

You can meet us at major trade shows such as the Canton Fair and leading furniture and hospitality expos in Europe and the Middle East, where we exhibit new models each season. We also welcome scheduled factory visits.

What certifications does your company hold?

Four certifications are current, and all are published on our Certificates page with their dates:

• ISO 9001 quality management system, covering the manufacturing and sales of furniture articles including outdoor shade umbrellas. This is our core quality management certification and is the one that governs how the workshop operates day to day.

• FSC, the Forest Stewardship Council certification, which means every piece of wood we use is responsibly sourced from sustainably managed forests, with chain of custody.

• EN 581, the European standard for outdoor furniture, covering the safety and durability testing of outdoor seating and tables. EN 581-1:2017, EN 581-2:2015 and EN 581-3:2017 all apply to the range.

• Alibaba Gold Plus Verified Supplier, an accreditation verified by third party authoritative institutions, covering enterprise qualification, production capacity and export service capability.

Two practical notes. EN 581 is a product safety and durability standard, so it answers the question of whether a chair is built to carry a person safely and repeatedly rather than what it is made of; material questions are covered in our Materials and Quality answers. And if your market needs a specific document set for customs or for a tender, tell us which certificates and which language you need and we will send the certificates themselves, not just the claim.

Are you a manufacturer or a trading company?

We are a manufacturer. Frames are welded, finished and upholstered in our own workshop in Zhejiang, and then packed for export.

This is not a market-positioning claim, it is where the work happens. Because the frame, the finish and the upholstery are all in house, a project can change the frame colour and the cushion fabric without changing the supplier, and the specification can be built around your space rather than around what happens to be in stock.

• A custom frame colour, rope tone or fabric is a production change, not a sourcing problem, so it does not put a second supplier between you and your order.

• Quality questions are answered by the people who made the piece, which is why we can support third party inspection before shipment and reissue parts rather than negotiate.

• Delivery is quoted against a published container loading plan for the exact version you order.
