Nine outdoor kitchen units, in aluminium or in hot-dip galvanised steel
FHKC002 is a modular outdoor kitchen range of nine units, split across two material lines. The A line is built in aluminium, the B line in hot-dip galvanised steel. Both lines share the same dimensions, the same carton sizes and the same brushed 304 stainless steel worktop, so the terrace drawing stays the same whichever line a project specifies.
The short answer: nine units from 60 cm to 150 cm wide, frames in aluminium or hot-dip galvanised steel, doors and shelf boards in wood-look WPC, a 1 mm brushed 304 stainless steel worktop, and flat cartons that load 211 to 534 units into one 40HQ. Send the terrace outline and the drawing and the lead time come back together.

- Two material lines, one drawing. The A line and the B line are the same nine shapes in two materials, so a project can move between them on cost without the terrace being re-planned.
- The frames do not rust. A is aluminium. B is hot-dip galvanised steel, where the zinc coating is sacrificial rather than decorative, so a scratched edge still has protection behind it. Both are then powder coated.
- The worktop is stainless, not timber. A 1 mm brushed 304 stainless steel top takes a hot pan, a knife mark and a winter outside without oiling or re-sealing.
- The shelf boards are composite. The wood-look door faces and shelf boards are WPC, so the timber look comes without the swelling, splitting and annual oiling of real timber.
- Units are ordered singly. A run can start as two units and grow, and a single damaged unit can be quoted on its own.
- Flat packing pays for the container. The tall 145 cm cabinet packs into a carton 80 cm high, so 273 of them load into a single 40HQ.
Choose the frame: aluminium or hot-dip galvanised steel
| A line - aluminium | B line - hot-dip galvanised steel | |
|---|---|---|
| Frame and panels | Aluminium, 1.2 mm sheet on the cabinets | Hot-dip galvanised steel, 1.0 to 1.2 mm sheet |
| Main tube | 30 x 20, 70 x 20 and 16 x 16 mm | 30 x 20, 70 x 20 and 16 x 16 mm |
| Worktop | Brushed 304 stainless steel, 1 mm | Brushed 304 stainless steel, 1 mm |
| Doors and shelf boards | Wood-look WPC board | Wood-look WPC board |
| Surface | Frame powder coated, worktop brushed | Frame powder coated, worktop brushed |
| Units in the line | A1 to A5 - five units | B1 to B4 - four units |
| Sizes and cartons | Identical to the B line | Identical to the A line |
| Per 40HQ | 211 to 534 units | 211 to 534 units |
Put simply: the aluminium line is the lighter specification that will not rust at all, and the galvanised line is the heavier, more economical way to the same layout.
The nine units, and the sizes they come in
| Line | Unit | SKU | Size W x D x H (cm) |
|---|---|---|---|
| A - aluminium | Storage cabinet | FHKC002-A1 | 90 x 62 x 145 |
| A - aluminium | Sink unit | FHKC002-A2 | 90 x 60 x 90 |
| A - aluminium | Table | FHKC002-A3 | 60 x 60 x 90 |
| A - aluminium | Storage cabinet | FHKC002-A4 | 87 x 60 x 90 |
| A - aluminium | Work station | FHKC002-A5 | 150 x 62 x 90 |
| B - galvanised | Storage cabinet | FHKC002-B1 | 90 x 62 x 145 |
| B - galvanised | Sink unit | FHKC002-B2 | 90 x 60 x 90 |
| B - galvanised | Table | FHKC002-B3 | 60 x 60 x 90 |
| B - galvanised | Storage cabinet | FHKC002-B4 | 87 x 60 x 90 |
The A line and the B line match unit for unit on size, so a run measured for one line fits the other. The 150 cm work station, A5, is made in aluminium only.
What each unit is for
| Unit | What it does |
|---|---|
| Storage cabinet, FHKC002-A1 | The tall unit of the range, with a slatted back panel that rises above the worktop and carries a shelf and a rail. It is the piece that turns a run into a kitchen wall. |
| Sink unit, FHKC002-A2 | A 90 cm unit with an open sink set into the worktop, sized for the 60 cm depth of the run. |
| Table, FHKC002-A3 | The narrow 60 cm unit. It closes a short run, or stands on its own as a side table beside a grill. |
| Storage cabinet, FHKC002-A4 | A closed 87 cm cabinet with doors on both faces of the plan - storage that also reads as the end panel of a run. |
| Work station, FHKC002-A5 | The widest unit at 150 cm, with a 304 stainless worktop and an open shelf below. It is the prep surface, and the piece a grill is built around. |
| Storage cabinet, FHKC002-B1 | The tall unit of the galvanised line, with the same slatted back panel and the same 145 cm height as A1. |
| Sink unit, FHKC002-B2 | The galvanised sink unit, with the same open sink and the same 90 x 60 cm footprint as A2. |
| Table, FHKC002-B3 | The 60 cm table of the galvanised line, the same size as A3. |
| Storage cabinet, FHKC002-B4 | The closed 87 cm cabinet of the galvanised line, the same size as A4. |
The units, one by one
Every unit is ordered on its own and stands on its own. These are the five shapes of the range, shown one at a time in the charcoal finish, so a buyer can see exactly what arrives before the run is put together on site.
Because the A line and the B line are the same shapes in different materials, one photograph covers both wherever the sizes match - the aluminium version and the galvanised version of a unit look the same on the terrace, and only the material behind the powder coat changes.

The frames and door faces are also made in plain white and in wood-look white, and the units can be ordered in any combination across the two material lines.
Specifications at a glance
Every unit on one page: the material behind each frame, the tube and panel gauges, the worktop, the carton and the container take. Minimum order 50 sets, and one 40HQ takes 60 sets.

| Unit | Material | Main tube | Panel | Worktop | Packing (cm) | Per 40HQ |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| A1 Storage cabinet | Aluminium, stainless steel | 30 x 20 / 70 x 20 / 16 x 16 | Aluminium 1.2 mm | 1 mm 304 stainless steel | 96 x 30 x 80 | 273 |
| A2 Sink unit | Aluminium, stainless steel | 30 x 20 / 70 x 20 / 16 x 16 | Aluminium 1.2 mm | 1 mm 304 stainless steel, with sink | 55 x 50 x 50 and 96 x 28 x 80 | 248 |
| A3 Table | Aluminium, stainless steel | 30 x 20 / 70 x 20 / 16 x 16 | Aluminium 1.2 mm | 1 mm 304 stainless steel | 88 x 28 x 66 | 436 |
| A4 Storage cabinet | Aluminium and composite board | 30 x 20 / 70 x 20 / 16 x 16 | Aluminium 1.2 mm | 1 mm 304 stainless steel | 96 x 20 x 66 | 534 |
| A5 Work station | Aluminium, stainless steel, composite board | 30 x 20 / 70 x 20 / 16 x 16 | Aluminium 1.2 mm | 1 mm 304 stainless steel | 156 x 30 x 66 | 211 |
All figures are per unit. The A2 sink unit ships in two cartons, which is why it lists two sizes. The B line uses the same tube, the same gauges and the same cartons in hot-dip galvanised steel, and loads the same number to a 40HQ.
Ways to put the units together
Because every unit is ordered singly, the range is bought as a layout rather than as a fixed set. The layouts that follow from the nine pieces:
| Combination | What it covers |
|---|---|
| Tall storage cabinet + sink unit | The working wall: storage above the counter and a sink beside it, in under two metres of terrace. |
| Tall storage cabinet + sink unit + work station | The full working wall: storage, sink and a 150 cm prep surface under one counter line. |
| Sink unit + work station + table | A straight run with the narrow 60 cm table closing the end. |
| Closed storage cabinet + table | A low, lockable run where no water is needed - a roof terrace or a service yard. |
Send the outline of the terrace and we return a drawing with the units placed and the sizes confirmed against the space.
Frame, doors and finish
The A line is built in aluminium and the B line in hot-dip galvanised steel, in both cases from a main tube of 30 x 20, 70 x 20 and 16 x 16 mm, with the cabinets skinned in 1.2 mm aluminium or 1.0 to 1.2 mm galvanised sheet.
Hot-dip galvanising is a zinc coating that works sacrificially: where a cut edge is exposed the zinc is consumed before the steel is, so a galvanised frame keeps its protection in the places a paint film usually fails. On the aluminium line there is nothing to protect - aluminium does not rust.
The whole frame is then powder coated, worktop aside, and the units ship knocked down to assemble on site.

The worktop
Every unit that carries a worktop uses 1 mm brushed 304 stainless steel - the grade that stands up to an outdoor kitchen rather than a domestic splashback. Brushed rather than mirror finished, because a brushed surface hides the fine marks that outdoor use puts on a worktop.
The worktop is 60 to 62 cm deep to match the depth of the run, so a straight run reads as one counter with no step between units.
The shelf boards, and the wood look
The door faces and the open shelf boards are WPC - a wood-plastic composite. It carries the grain of timber and takes the same warm tone, but it is not timber: it does not swell in the rain, it does not split as it dries and it does not need oiling through the seasons.
Inside an open shelving unit the boards are set into the frame rather than laid on top of it, so a wet tray does not sit in a puddle on the shelf.

Colours and finishes
The range is made in charcoal, in plain white and in white with wood-look faces, and the mixing is deliberate: a charcoal frame with wood-look doors sits against a timber deck, and an all-white run reads as a continuation of a rendered wall.
Whichever combination is specified, the frame is powder coated over the whole unit - so the inside of a cabinet and the back of a door are finished the same way as the face that is seen.

All four colourways on one sheet, so a specification can be settled by comparing them side by side rather than from two separate photographs. Reading the grid from the top left: charcoal, charcoal with wood-look faces, white, and white with wood-look faces.
| Colourway | Frame | Door and shelf faces |
|---|---|---|
| 1 - Charcoal | Charcoal powder coat | Charcoal aluminium panels |
| 2 - Charcoal and wood | Charcoal powder coat | Wood-look composite board |
| 3 - White | White powder coat | White aluminium panels |
| 4 - White and wood | White powder coat | Wood-look composite board |
Whichever colourway is chosen, the brushed stainless steel worktop and the composite shelf boards stay the same, so the run reads the same way on the terrace and only the frame and door faces change.
Planning a run
The units are sized so that a run comes together from straight cabinets rather than from a special corner piece: the 90 cm units on the working wall, the 150 cm work station under the grill, and the 60 cm table to close the end.
Because the two lines match on size, the drawing made for an aluminium run also prices as a galvanised one - which is usually how a project decides between them.
Send the outline of the terrace, the position of the water and the power, and the size of the grill, and the drawing comes back with the units placed and the gaps checked.
Weather, site and use
The units are freestanding and need nothing more than a level, hard surface - paving, decking or a concrete slab. On an exposed roof terrace, plan the fixing down into the substrate as part of the build.
Between them, the two lines cover the two ways an outdoor kitchen fails: the aluminium line takes out rust altogether, and the galvanised line puts a sacrificial coating behind every cut edge. Stainless worktop and composite boards take out the two surfaces that usually need annual work.

Where the range is used
Villa terraces, pool decks, roof gardens, hotel and restaurant outdoor areas, and the kitchen yard of a private house. It suits projects where a run is put together over time, and projects that need a specification to be moved on cost without the terrace being redrawn. See the rest of the outdoor kitchen range, or the wider outdoor furniture line it is made to sit with.

Packing and container loading
Every unit ships knocked down in its own flat carton. The A line and the B line pack to the same sizes, because the two lines are the same shapes in different materials.
| Unit | Carton (cm) | Volume (CBM) | Packing | Per 40HQ |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Storage cabinet, 90 x 62 x 145 cm | 96 x 30 x 80 | 0.23 | 1 unit | 273 |
| Sink unit, 90 x 60 x 90 cm | 96 x 28 x 80 (body) | 0.27 | 1 unit in 2 cartons | 248 |
| Table, 60 x 60 x 90 cm | 88 x 28 x 66 | 0.16 | 1 unit | 436 |
| Storage cabinet, 87 x 60 x 90 cm | 96 x 20 x 66 | 0.13 | 1 unit | 534 |
| Work station, 150 x 62 x 90 cm | 156 x 30 x 66 | 0.31 | 1 unit | 211 |
Mixed loads are quoted on the enquiry, so the units a terrace actually needs can share one container.
What is not included
The sink unit is supplied with its open sink, but the tap shown in the photographs is a prop rather than part of the order. The grill, the worktop appliances and the small props in the photographs are not included either.
What is included is the cabinet frames with their doors, shelf boards and fittings, the brushed 304 stainless steel worktop on the units that carry one, and the fixings the units assemble with.
Customisation and OEM
Size, colour and logo are customised under OEM and ODM: a different width or depth for a specific terrace, a colour matched to a brand reference, and a logo applied to the units.
On a hotel or restaurant project the units are usually specified to a brand colour and marked once, so a terrace that grows over several seasons still matches itself. Tell us the colour reference and where the mark goes, and the drawing comes back with both noted.
Care and maintenance
Both lines are cleaned the same way: warm water and a mild, pH-neutral soap. Abrasive pads, wire wool and solvent cleaners take the sheen off a powder coat, so keep them off the frames and the doors.
Wipe the stainless worktop along its brush direction rather than across it, and rinse a coastal site every few months to take the salt off the frames. The composite boards need nothing beyond a wipe.
Because the range is modular, wear is dealt with unit by unit rather than by rebuilding a kitchen.
Price, lead time and how to order
Price is quoted per order rather than published, because the line, the units, the finish, the quantity and the shipping terms all move the number. The route from layout to a confirmed order is four steps.
- Send the layout. The outline of the terrace, where the water and the power are, the size of the grill and how many people the kitchen serves. A sketch or a photograph is enough to start.
- Choose the line and the units. Aluminium or hot-dip galvanised steel, any combination of the units, and charcoal, plain white or white with wood-look faces - with a size or colour change if the terrace needs one.
- Get the drawing and the price. We come back with the units placed in the space, the sizes confirmed against it, and a price for the order.
- Confirm the details. Lead time and minimum quantity are confirmed on the enquiry, because they depend on the units and the finish chosen. The pre-shipment details are checked against the drawing before anything is packed.
Ask for the price with the terrace outline and the quantity, and both come back in the same reply: ask for a price on this range.

Questions
A is built in aluminium and is the lighter unit that will not rust at all. B is built in hot-dip galvanised steel and is the heavier, more economical line. Both share the same dimensions, the same cartons and the same 304 stainless worktop, so the terrace drawing does not change between them.
Yes. A1 and B1 are both 90 x 62 x 145 cm, A2 and B2 both 90 x 60 x 90 cm, A3 and B3 both 60 x 60 x 90 cm, and A4 and B4 both 87 x 60 x 90 cm. A5, the 150 cm work station, is aluminium only.
Yes. Units are ordered singly, so a run can start small, be extended later, and one damaged unit can be quoted on its own.
A 1 mm brushed 304 stainless steel top on the units that carry one, with a brushed finish. The closed storage cabinets are finished in the frame material.
They are WPC boards - a wood-plastic composite - used on the door faces and the shelf boards. They read as timber but they do not swell, split or need oiling.
The sink unit is supplied with its open sink. The tap shown in the photographs is a prop - tell us the tap you want and it is quoted with the order.
No. The grill shown in the photographs is a prop, and the work station is sized to take the grill the site chooses.
They ship knocked down in flat cartons and assemble on site. The tall 145 cm cabinet packs into a carton 80 cm high and the 90 cm units into cartons 66 cm high.
273 tall storage cabinets, 248 sink units, 436 tables, 534 closed cabinets or 211 work stations load into one 40HQ.
50 units per version, confirmed on the enquiry.
Lead times are confirmed on the enquiry, because they depend on the units and the finish chosen.
Warm water and a mild, pH-neutral soap. Keep abrasive pads, wire wool and solvent cleaners away from the powder coat, and wipe the stainless worktop along its brush direction.
12 months from the date of loading.
