FHSF077-A12 is a four-piece outdoor seating group: two single-seaters, one three-seater and one slat-top coffee table, all carried on the same dark grey powder-coated aluminum frame. The single-seaters and the three-seater share one detail that separates them from a plain box frame - the back is closed with a panel of 5 mm polyester round rope instead of a solid plate or a bare gap.

Seat cushions are 12 cm thick in 360 g short-fibre outdoor fabric over a 24D sponge core. They sit as loose cushions on the frame, so a stained cover can be swapped or a tired pad replaced without ordering the whole set. The coffee table is 120 x 60 cm at 35 cm high, low enough to sit under the sightline of the three-seater.

Dimensions

All three elevations are drawn to the same 1:16 scale, so the three-seater can be compared against the single-seater and the coffee table before a layout is signed off.

The rope-weave back

The back panel is woven from 5 mm polyester round rope, threaded between the top rail and the seat rail. It is the one component a client notices first when walking past the set, and it is also the reason the frame stays rigid without a diagonal brace.

Why rope rather than a solid back

A woven back lets air move behind the cushion, so the cover dries after rain instead of trapping moisture against a plate. It also keeps the outline of the set open, which matters on a terrace where a solid back would read as a wall.

• The rope panel is a serviceable part - it can be re-strung without replacing the frame
• Rain passes through the weave, so no water collects behind the seat cushion
