Is the FHUM104 suitable for coastal or poolside use?
Yes. The natural anodized aluminum frame and stainless hardware are chosen for chloride-rich environments. A water-tank or resin base is recommended; for permanent installs we suggest the iron plate base.
How does the push-pull opening work, and is it reliable?
The pole extends in two sections and locks with an internal catch. Compared to rope-and-pulley systems, it has far fewer wear parts, which lowers long-term maintenance for commercial operators.
What size FHUM104 should I choose for a four-top restaurant table?
The 3×3M Double is the standard recommendation for four-top outdoor tables with a clearance of about 60–80cm. For two-top or compact café tables, the 2.1×2.1M Double is usually enough.
Can the LED version be retrofitted, and how is it powered?
The LED kit is pre-routed into the ribs at the factory and is best ordered together with the umbrella. Power comes from a standard mains adapter with a low-voltage rib harness, and the on-rib control box provides simple on/off control.
